This past weekend my friends and I ventured out to our friends ranch. Located out of Bandera, she has a beautiful river spot we enjoyed.

Emily's little weenie dogs came with us, Molly being the adventurous one, jumped right in and swam with us. The river was gorgeous, having a refreshingly inviting clear color to it.
Then we moved on to her family's orchard. Luscious green grass overwhelmed the property.

We picked a couple of peaches, which were amazingly delicious!

This past weekend was amazing! A great way to start off a stressful week of finals!
Bring it on!

home.

If there were any other place I would live, it would definitely be my home sweet home town of Weimar, Tx. Yes, given I only lived there until a year before kinder, I still fall in love of every aspect of it.
I have a soft spot for small towns, admiring each one I drive upon.
My house there in Weimar is an old victorian styled one, that had a funny background around it.

Before we moved in, the house was pretty run down from the pre owners. The famous photograph of the house before any alterations sits at our front door, always available for the show and tell time. When the pre-owners owned the house they thought of what they thought was a genius plan, which was to cut the top half of the house and move it somewhere else and live in that, because of the taxes.
Insanity. Too practically ruin a beautiful victorian house. What were they thinking?
Don't worry my parents took care and redid the upstairs with cool wood ceilings, that will forever stay with me for some reason.

This is my ultimate favorite barn, its on our property about 15 minutes out of Weimar.
My uncle in into restoring old things, and this was one of his creations, having cool little decor downstairs in the barn.

Anything, and everything from Weimar reminds me of home.
Take me there please.

color

a haze of color surrounds up, absorbing everything we inhale.

Through a looking glass, tis who?
unexpected color is upon us.

Randomly, sometimes I have this moment of AW, where I just cannot believe where I am.
Sitting casually in my room, I glance at the lime-green walls of my sisters room, and wondered just how exactly they came about.
Looking back at before they really had color, or at least in photographs, oh how we have progressed.
We are all blessed  with this beautiful imagery around us, and most of all
COLOR.
